Executive Cafe Series

Learn to recognize and let go of old patterns of self-deception. Build your capacity to see things as they really are. In these small, confidential café circles, you receive coaching and support in growing your critical leadership capacities. The circle draws from coach Barbara Phillips’ depth of insight and experience, learning from each other and from Leadership and Self-Deception by The Arbinger Institute. By registering, you can join a circle at any time. There are always ongoing circles and new circles forming. One current circle meets at Bogani Cafe, 23 Avenue and 111 Street next to Sobey’s. Take the plunge: it is just 2 blocks south of the Century Park LRT. Another active circle meets at Transcend, 104 St. and Jasper Avenue.

Start a circle with 3 or 4 colleagues and friends. Learn together amd deepen your connections with them. Choose your own coffee spot.

Request a circle for your leaders and prospective leaders. Contact us at programs@co-creating.ca or phone 780-465-1721. read more

The NEW LEADERSHIP program

This 3-day program re-connects you to your inner space that brings more of you into your life and work. From there, you’ll develop new skills, abilities and awareness, using coaching for practice. First you build a rare capacity for listening – listening for wholes, for systemic context, without getting stuck in personal opinions and judgments. Then you explore the Presencing model of leadership, the prerequisites for Collective Wisdom in group processes and you learn to identify the traps of Collective Folly, such as false agreement and misplaced certainty. Finally you learn to give Turnaround Feedback and to turn around dysfunctional group processes even when you are simply a member of the group.
