In this series of 5 afternoon sessions – 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM – we explore and learn to integrate in a group of 5 to 8, the lessons from Leadership and Self-Deception by The Arbinger Institute. The NEW LEADERSHIP program
This 3-day program teaches new skills, abilities and awareness, and uses coaching for practice. First you build an unusual capacity for listening – listening for wholes, for systemic context, without getting stuck in personal opinions and judgments. Then, you apply this attention to your inner stance – how you show up. From that space within, you explore the prerequisites for Collective Wisdom in group processes and learn to identify the traps of Collective Folly, such as false agreement and misplaced certainty. Finally you learn what it takes to turn around dysfunctional group processes.
Do Action planning to help you take these abilities and skills to the workplace. Enjoy a private, professional coaching session. You’ll be coaching and being coached in the program as well, as we move into this new approach to leadership.
